The UniversalChain 18 is a lightweight cordless chainsaw from Bosch. It is powered by 18 volt Lithium-ion battery technology, allowing the chainsaw to be operated without the need for annoying pull cables or dealing with petrol fumes. Equipped with a new stop hook which allows the chainsaw to perform undercuts and a simple tensioning system that requires no extra tools, the Universal Chain 18 is suitable for everyday use around the garden.

With a blade length of 200 mm, the UniversalChain 18 can effortlessly saw through branches 70 to 130 mm in thickness. Therefore the chainsaw is ideal for pruning trees and cutting up branches for firewood. Its convenience and low weight of just 3.0 kg (including battery) makes the chainsaw effortless to use. Together with ergonomic handles, the saw is also excellent for cutting high branches without your arms getting tired.
